Other London companies featured in the film include Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen, which gives unemployed youth a chance to have a better future, Clarity, a charity that employs blind and disabled people to create cleaning products and yummy personal care gift sets that aren't tested on animals, and my company Tygahoney Music, a socially conscious record label and publishing company which provides mobile music workshops for schools and communities, mentors and raises awareness on social issues including homelessness, domestic abuse and Fair Trade through it's work.
It was an honour to be involved in this media project and to film it in my home town in London. To be asked to provide the soundtrack and to present and narrate too was wonderful! It was great to be involved in a film commissioned and produced by those who share similar sentiments about making a positive difference in business. We filmed all over London. It was a long, exhausting day, but very rewarding.
You'll find the film on SEL's website, on our YouTube page, and right here too! Check it out, leave a comment and let me know how use social enterprises in your every day life.
Thanks for reading.
Enjoy and have a great weekend!
